I’m a life-long west coast resident, inspired by nature and the BC coast.
I’m also a life-long boater, and for much of my adult life I’ve also been an organic food gardener dedicated to backyard sustainability.
Before retiring, I worked for almost two decades as an environmental activist, co-founding and heading up the Georgia Strait Alliance, a conservation group with a challenging and vital mandate: protecting our coastal waters and the natural life they support.
Nowadays my environmental work takes a softer form: driving an electric vehicle, growing organic food, and photographing the natural wonders around me, whether at home on Gabriola Island or exploring the coast by boat or kayak.
If my photographs can help nurture your own passion for the amazing web of life on our planet, so much the better – our imperiled planet needs all the loving passion we can muster.
